Krysti's has run off into the marsh and Krysti reluctantly follows. She finds that the marsh contains a lot of clinging, sucking mud, as she gets stuck in ankle deep to knee deep mud. Then she falls into some bottomless quicksand, sinking up to her neck. As it appears she might not escape, she remembers a show she saw on how to escape quicksand. Using that knowledge, she escapes.
