Alex and her step-mom, played by spanking legend Clare Fonda, are going to a family reunion. Alex has gotten herself ready in a form-fitting dress and a pair of heels. When she comes out to tell her step-mom she's ready to go, Clare is clearly upset by Alex's wardrobe choice. She has a different dress in mind: a yellow, lacy dress with bunnies on it that is as childish as can be. Clare tells Alex that she had this dress custom made for her step-daughter to wear to the event, but Alex refuses and throws a fit about it.
