Babs anticipates Steph’s arrival with dread. On the morning of the fourth day, not knowing Steph heads for the Cosmos House, she sends Tiffany on an errand and gathers Robyn to visit Janet at the Corvette House. Babs intends that Janet not only examine Robyn’s memory but also provide backstory about Tiffany and advice about handling Steph.

Once past the Back Door and the Bell, Babs leads Robyn through the Backyard into a maze of alleyways and street crossings. Babs’ public exposure haunts her, and she directs her eyes downward at her own areolage. Bling blush. But then recovery, as a more steely part of her brain interrupts and lifts her chin up. I shall take careful steps, keep my babambas contained, and rob paparazzi of any payday. I’ll pick my own path. And Robyn shall stay with me.

Babs delivers Robyn to the front door of the Corvette House. Janet smiles as she collects Robyn inside; Babs sits on the porch behind the railing. It provides protection from paparazzi, but not from any Corvette House Cam. Babs can’t stop a blush from coming on. She takes a deep breath. Maybe I can’t control areolage—yet—but I do have a plan to make sure my babambas stay contained, using something I found in the Makeup Case.

Babs crosses her arms in front of her. She keeps her arms crossed and her areolage sequestered. She waits while Janet appraises Robyn inside. Trade offs. I get to know what Janet thinks about Robyn, but I have to expose myself. I am the Bikini Babe. I not only still have to walk back, but everyone now knows I’m here.

Babs wonders what conclusions Janet will come to about Robyn. What if Robyn’s amnesia isn’t fake? What if the Gamers really did some kind of reset? Robyn Redacted. And if they can do that to Robyn, what about me? Is it something one can even see coming? Know if it has even happened to you?

BB evaluates her Game status. Last Term I was one of Steph’s Pledge, and yes, this Term Steph shall be one of my Pledge.

What don’t I understand about that?

Babs clarifies a thought and practices in her mind what she might say to a virtual Steph standing spread surrender before her. Last Term you made me wash your entire foot with my tongue. Suck the toes one by one. Lick clean in between them. Wetten the soles of your feet with spittle, so as to wash, but not tickle.

You and Madam Nurse Beautician conspired to foot train me. Mouth practice. Maybe sometimes Beautician made me wash feet before I licked them, but she never made me lick soap off of them. But you, Steph Sorostitute, you made me clean soap off every Cosmos foot.

Last Term Steph had acquired the behind-her-back nickname, Steph Sorostitute, a term for that mythical seductive and spoiled sorority princess.

You, Steph Sorostitute, are one aptly-named Gamer. Maybe you made me lick soapy feet, maybe you confined me to my bunk with a chamber p.ot and maybe you put me in the Mudwrestling Contest. But whatever happened to you to at the end last Term didn’t happen as a result of anything I did. I am not responsible for any role reversal between you and myself.

Of course not.

A barefoot Janet barges out the Corvette House front door with Robyn in tow. Janet’s walked barefoot ever since her very first Term in the Game, and she navigates the wood and then concrete underfoot with ease.

“Come on,” Janet says, jingle-jangling her spiderweb jaboos at Babs. “I told Robyn we’d show her around. She recognized me from my Dining Room Picture, but no other memories seem to gel.” Janet centers the ends of her nipples in the center of her crochet Spiderweb halter and shakes her head. “I’m afraid she doesn’t even know any Positions or Hand Signs, and she’s probably forgotten she just talked to me.”

Robyn perks up. “Don’t be rude. I’m not the one flashing my areolage and bush. Or lotsa bellage; I’m the one with the smallest buttonhole. And besides, you two, since you say Steph was your Monitor last Term, maybe Steph remembers Positions and Hand Signs. After all, didn’t she give the both of you lessons?”

Janet fiddles her sex lips back inside her g-string. She raises her eyebrows toward Babs, but BB chooses not to make this a teaching moment. Babs straightens her head and shoulders, draws her belly taut, and matches pace with the other two. Janet jaboos and jipijapa and jaxy. Better for Janet to let it all hang out.

BB considers herself. And yes, I learned Hand Signs last Term. She shifts to a lateral thought. And if Robyn really did bring Steph down, then how? And how do I stay out of any snapback?

Boss Babe considers Robyn in her thin strapless maillot cutout. Littlest hole around!
