Having overheard the delivery driver boasting about exploiting SuperGirl's fears, Black Widow has set up her trap. Posing as a new, she convinces SuperGirl to seek her counsel in dealing with her phobia. She instructs SG to put on headphones and become entranced, in order to plant behavior triggers in her mind. Black Widow instructs the highly suggestible super heroine that she will FREEZE upon seeing a spider from here on out.
