Arielle Lane works in a bookstore that specializes in rare literature. She has just received new books to add to the store's collection and is trying to decide where to place them. Distracted, Arielle does not notice a masked thief enter the store. The thief grabs her from behind, and after a bit of struggling, Arielle succumbs and falls into a deep rest. He lowers her to the ground and checks her pulse. Then, he takes a red spongey ball and packs it into Arielle's mouth.

The thief gets to work making sure that Arielle is immobilized so she will not disturb him once she wakes up. Beginning at her ankles, he uses zip ties to secure her legs together. Then, he flips her over onto her stomach, and zip ties her wrists together. Just to be sure she is adequately bound, he zip ties her arms to her body, pinning them behind her.

Arielle begins to wake up and realizes that she can not move. She starts to struggle and pulls herself upright. Arielle's captor grabs her and pulls her between his legs, making it difficult for her to fight. He takes a roll of microfoam tape and wraps it tightly around her head multiple times, effectively gagging her.

Now that the thief has bound and gagged Arielle, he leaves her to find the most valuable books in the store. Arielle helplessly struggles, unsure of how she is going to make it out of her current dilemma. The tight zip ties make most movement difficult, and the tight gag only enhances the strain of the bondage.

Fortunately for Arielle, the thief made a significant error. He left a pair of scissors on the ground close to her. Arielle notices the pair of scissors and excitedly begins to move towards them. She uses various parts of her body to push the scissors toward her hands. Arielle manages to grasp the scissors and tries cutting through the zip ties on her wrists. She has trouble cutting through the zip ties but eventually severs her bondage.

Once Arielle is completely free of her restraints, she pulls the microfoam tape off from around her head, and chokes out the large sponge ball. Arielle nervously looks around and goes to get her phone. She returns and calls the police, explaining that she was captured and her store was robbed. Arielle hangs up and sits, waiting desperately for the police.
