Peko Lux KNOWS there's a monster under her bed, but she also knows how that sounds coming from an adult. So she's going to prove it. She asked her mad scientist friend (everyone has one of those, right?) to turn her into a doll, so she could prove it. No, really, it makes sense! See, she doesn't want to get eaten by the monster, but she wants to prove it exists. If she used herself as bait normally, she'd get eaten. But, if she's a doll, the monster may get interested at first, then ignore her, allowing her to capture it on film...proof! Proof for the world to see!

Once she's a doll, she has given Mr. Mad explicit instructions to give her a thorough inspection, especially of all the parts that monsters most like to nibble on. Feet, faces, butts...you know. She is given a VERY thorough inspection - with gloved hands, so as not to get any human-ness on her. She doesn't want to get mistaken as a human when she's a doll. The monster might take a nibble.

After this very thorough inspection (special attention are paid, like I said, to her feet and her face, especially her eyes and lips/mouth), she's placed as bait for the monster. But the monster doesn't care, and drags her under the bed anyway for a mid-day snack! Oh nooooooo!
