Here is the first match from the London Submission Room's live event on 11 December 2021 and what a superb match it was to get the event underway. Nixie has a reputation for being feisty (at the previous event, she was even brave enough to take on the Amazonian Hildr Battle Queen!!!) As for Gabriela, we couldn't have asked for a better match in terms of size. The question was whether it was fair to put Nixie up against someone her own size? Well let's find out...

The fabulous Amethyst Hammerfist introduces the two wrestlers and keeps a watchful eye throughout, to ensure they stick to the rules, which are "Pins (to a count of 10) and Submissions". But it seems that Nixie doesn't like to do pins. She's trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and so Submissions are the order of the day. As the match gets going, it's clear that Gabriela also knows how to do feisty, especially when she thinks that Nixie is breaking the rules, but this just adds to the excitement.

In the end, one girl reigns supreme, but for the opening match to our latest event, we couldn't have asked for better. There is a brief moment of uncertainty at the end over the final score, but this was easily resolved by watching the replay (the editor's decision is final).
