Being a single step-mom has its ups and downs - but the downs, well they can get madly low. Some days feeling like you're the slave of a miniature version of yourself can get horribly stressful, especially on the days they get especially demanding. I try to take a minute for myself just to wallow in self-pity and just sob out all of my sobs, but still get orders screamed in the next room. Oh man, I need a holiday.
