Normally with a heeled term cast Emma prefers to gimp, but on a rainy day with all the puddles, where a protective sock would only just get her exposed casted toes damp and cold she prefers going bare toed with crutches to keep her half naked foot and out of the water and with her jean leg cut off to accommodate her cast. Still she has to wiggle her exposed toes or they'll get too cold.
