It's not exactly Charles Dickens but it does have it's moments!
Candace eagerly goes out to place her first house call as a rep for the Grant A Wish Program with her church - Our Lady Queen of Hearts. At her first stop she introduces herself to Sam, who lives alone and is only to happy to have her company. She explains as part of her church's outreach program to the local community, they send out some of their members around christmas time to grant wishes to people who may be in some need.
