At the bequest of his family Joseph has been sent to a "Conversion " to help with his "disease" of homosexuality. She tells him that basically he isn't normal and that she would help him overcome his desire for males, Joseph is skeptical but is receptive to whatever Dr Lane has in store for him as far as "therapy" goes. Dr Lane has some unusual methods which may prove effective, let's see if she has the right "touch".
