She accidentally drops it, and is frozen suddenly, suspended in a moment of shock. The area is isolated, so no one will come across her for a while. Time passes, and she is there overnight.

Finally, POV, a coworker of Deanna’s, arrives the following day, coming in to the office on a Saturday, and is the first to come across her.
