I'm taking to Corvette out to the drag strip for the first time! I am out at an 1/8th mile strip, all season tires are not ideal for a track but it will be fun anyway. I take the first few easy and figure out my staging points. My reaction time is crazy slow, but I am starting to feel out the car. I think I need to let it rev up a little higher to get a good launch out of it. The tires are holding me back but I know I can push them further next time. I shifted too soon on this one and I want to let it bounce off the limit next time so I can cross the line in second.
