I'm taking to Corvette out to the drag strip for the first time! I am out at an 1/8th mile strip, all season tires are not ideal for a track but it will be fun anyway. I take the first few easy and figure out my staging points. My reaction time is crazy slow, but I am starting to feel out the car. I think I need to let it rev up a little higher to get a good launch out of it. The tires are holding me back but I know I can push them further next time. I push a little harder with each run and cut out more time with each pass. Next time I'm out I don't want to be as easy on the car. I shifted ... Show more
