The mask thug was actually a vampire held in place by the mind control powers of the mask.

Crimson Avengert offers to help the vampire seek vengeance.The vampire is confused as he believes her to be a hero and since when did hero help vampires?

Crimson explains that she is an agent for pure vengeance and does not align herself with good/evil bias.The vampire agrees to her help and risks her away to the location where he was captured.

Once there he begins to have second thoughts and instead uses mind control to make her his slave.He makes her perform sexual acts on him before commanding her to strip naked.
