I dab an alcohol-soaked cotton ball to the affected areas to dry, then drop saline solution to clean, and swab the areas with betadine. Once they are clean and treated, I apply two different types of medicated creams to the affected areas (antibiotic for the open sores, anti-itch for the urticaria). I "lotion" up the most annoying cluster of bites/sores/hives on my ass, then cover the most severe sores with gauze.
