Monique would like to treat herself this evening, big time. She wants to be helpless. She has a plan. She attaches the key to the cage to a piece of string, which is fixed to a candle. The candle is then lit. When the candle burns down far enough, the string is released. The key drops on the floor, where she can reach it and free herself. The cage has 5 locks, but she additionally ties her hands and feet with cuffs. That key for the cuffs is thrown into the room, out of her reach. She's got some water and nibbles by the cage.
