This is the first of three short stories. Lysippe and her Amazons and the Barbarian army lead by mighty Machismo upon the field of battle. Machismo beats his massive chest with clenched fists and challenges any woman to come forth to face him in single combat upon the field. Derinoe the Amazon comes forth to fight him. Machismo looks down with much scorn upon this mere girl who is so much smaller than himself. The Amazon women gasp as Derinoe goes down before the mighty sword of the Barbarian champion.
