As the story continues, the dark villain Nightmare appears just after Cara Lenard (Darla Crane) has transformed into SuperDarla. He mistakenly believes the masked champion of justice has freed the reporter, and he ultimately overpowers her. SuperDarla quickly finds herself bitgagged and bound to a post with seemingly unbreakable ropes. The booted super-babe struggles against her bindings, but she's apparently in a weakened state and can't free herself.
