A reporter (Shawna Lake) is brought bound and gagged to a house in the suburbs. It seems she's been snooping around, looking into the Crooked Claw's story. So the master villain's stepmother (Ma Claw, played by Katherine Montel) sits her down to tell the captive journalist about their ancestral lineage.
