Even though we are wearing costumes, and we don't want them to wrinkle, we realize that wearing a seat belt is necessary while driving or riding in a car. Nyxon and I pull our seat belts tight across our chests, making sure they fit snugly around our waists. My car is very modern and safe, I never worry about my safety belt malfunctioning. Nyxon and I talk about our seat belt practices. We ALWAYS wear one while in the car, even if it's just a trip down the road. I tell her about how my step-mom was very strict about making us wear one when I was growing up. At last we decide it's time to get to the party before we're late. We give our safety belts one last check and drive away.
