I've heard of carjacking, but this is ridiculous! I'd parked in a garage downtown to run a few errands. I thought nothing about getting back in the car; it was daylight and seemed perfectly safe. I cranked, revved a bit, and, as I turned my head to back out, I saw the jack in the back seat. He wasn't holding a, and he never threatened me -- not really. I offered money, my purse, the keys to the car... anything. But all he wanted -- get this!! -- was to see me play shoeless with the gas and break!
