I was dared by a devoted fan to speed in sneakers. The point was to see which set of shoes would "propel" me the fastest. The first pair were fine, but not quite heavy and fast enough. I didn't even reach 100 mph in them. So I decided to change shoes and see if I could put the hammer down. While the second pair was faster, they still didn't have enough lead in them. Guess I'll have to change not shoes but cars next time!!
