I've gone on record about my intense hatred of ants. Nothing excite -- or incites -- so much fury and (I think) righteous indignation in me than vicious and (in my part of the world) ubiquitous fire ants. To be sure, they're a true marvel -- crafty, ingenious, indefatigable, unconquerable... But I loathe them all the same. And if it's all the same to you, I want to annihilate them. Obviously, the world would be a better and happier place without fire ants. Unfortunately, none of my treatments have worked this season.
