I am waiting for a bus but have missed it talking to a friend. I look up and notice the bus leaving in the distance. There's a man there and I ask if he knows when the next bus is. Its Sunday morning now and he tells me it's not until Monday morning. I panic. I have no cash as I had a bus pass. The guy tells me there's a small town about 2 miles away. And that I can get a cab from there but its double rates on a weekend. He tells me the only place open is a small pawn shop and he might give me some cash for my ring (its all I have on me).
