I’m feeling confident as I wear my black hooded wetsuit that accentuates my curves with my pink weight belt resting snuggly on my hips. Determined to find my step-daddy’s ring I swim effortlessly hoping to find what I’m looking for – then finally, behind my mask I finally see it but have to take off my equipment and hold my breath as long as I can until I can finally get to it. It's a struggle to hold my breath so long, but I get my hands on my step-daddy’s ring with a sigh of relief, knowing my equipment is not too far away from me. I finally get back to my gear, while seeing another diver whisk away into the distance. I can’t wait for the cool air from my regulator to hit my throat, but the unimaginable has happened – I put my regulator between my lips only to have no air. Unable to get the precious air I desperately need, I lay motionless, leaving a trail of air bubbles and my step-daddy’s ring.
