He quickly unfastened the weights and helped Indica out of the pool, her body trembling and her eyes wide with fear.

"Are you alright?" her husband asked, concern etched on his face.

Indica nodded, still catching her breath. She couldn't believe how close she had come to being gone, and the realization left her shaken.

"I just wanted to feel weightless," she whispered, tears welling up in her eyes.

Her husband pulled her into a hug, the warmth of his embrace comforting her. And as she clung to him, she couldn't help but wonder if she would ever be able to shake her fascination with the water and its dangerous allure.
