Mia's arms strained as she tried to pull Sushii closer, her breaths coming in short bursts through her regulator.
But Sushii was not one to back down easily. She twisted and turned, her body rolling around Mia's like a serpent, trying to find an opening. The waves crashed over them, obscuring their vision, but still they continued their fight.
Suddenly, Mia's hand found its way to Sushii's regulator, and with a swift motion, she turned it off. Sushii's eyes widened in shock, but before she could react, Mia had pulled the regulator from her mouth, cutting off her air supply. With a roar, Sushii broke free from the rope, desperately trying to reach the surface for air.
But Mia was not finished yet. She followed Sushii, her hand still firmly grasping onto the regulator. As they broke the surface, Mia emerged victorious, her chest heaving with exertion as she looked down at Sushii, working hard for her breath.
You submitted, Mia said triumphantly, her eyes shining with victory. Sushii, defeated and exhausted, could only nod in agreement. In that moment, Mia knew that she had proven herself as the true champion of the underwater rope challenge.
