In a standing, leg-spread, arms bound position, my chin is held high by the gag attached to the ceiling. I stand as still as possible to keep the chain from swaying as Martin binds my knees and ankles together. The position gets a little harder to manage now that I'm allowed very little movement in my legs and feet. I'm hosed down with ice cold water - which I never know whether I love or hate it, and to stand a little while longer until I'm brought to my knees for the remainder of the show.
