Scene Four: Secret Revealed

Brooke comes home from school carrying books. Step-Dad is in the living room . He accuses her of telling people about them; she denies it, he takes off his belt and swings it at her legs, she drops her books and backs into a corner bending over and putting her hands in front of her legs. She cries while he continues to swing his belt at her either hitting her hands and legs. He calls her names; "lying little whore," "ungrateful little bitch," that kind of thing.
