She explained that she was never required to so did not try, so it seemed like a good idea to find out what she could do if she was free to try. We spent fifteen minutes tying her to a chair and gagging her, then gave her the okay to get started. Amanda desperately tried to find the knots to the ropes binding her wrists behind her back, always difficult when one cannot see. What she did not know is that the knots were buried under several layers of rope which travelled up to the ropes around her chest and down to the ones holding her ankles together and against the cross strut of the chair. She worked on this for almost a quarter of an hour without making any real progress, so yes, she did not escape, but it's still nice to watch her try knowing that she has no hope of succeeding. Another damsel to keep stored in the basement! Cue sinister laugh.
