1. Planned Robbery Jasmine is in arrears with her rent and simply cannot pay. Rather than get evicted, she hatches a plan to raise money by staging a robbery where some of her possessions are stolen, and she can subsequently claim the insurance and get herself out of debt, and perhaps even turn a profit. She tries to plan out how the "burglar" should leave her. Obviously, she should be bound and gagged, but what type of gag would look the most convincing. She tries various options, from a man's neck tie to duct tape, and even tegaderm tape. She needs a second opinion, and she needs someone to tie her up. She calls her friend Rick and asks him to come over to help her out. He is a little confused by her scheme at first, but soon he throws himself into the part and binding her wrists and ankles. Jasmine suggests using her phone to take some photos of her being hand-gagged, and Rick obliges. He almost seems to be enjoying it too much, however, and Jasmine chastises him for being too rough. Rick applies various gags to her mouth, and after some debate, Jasmine decides that just being tied up on the floor is not good enough. She asks Rick to tie her to a chair. When she has been secured, he cycles through the various gags again, finally settling on a cloth pushed into her mouth and seal in with tegaderm tape. Unable to speak now, Jasmine can't communicate with him any further, so she has to hope he knows what he is supposed to do. She sits there while he steals some of her valuables then departs. Jasmine now seems the flaw in her plan: Who is going to call the police?
2. Number Thirteen Jasmine is on the phone to a friend and they are talking about the man who breaks into homes and ties up women, not to steal anything but because he sees himself as creating a work of art. He even calls himself "The Artist" when he leaves messages to taunt the police. He has tied up twelve different women now, each gagged with duct tape bearing the number of his victim. Jasmine says she has locked all the doors and feels confident that no one can get in. Soon after she ends the call and checks that the front door is indeed locked, she returns to her living room, unaware that someone is walking up behind her. She finally sees him in the mirror and, startled, turns to confront him. He warns her that if she does not want to get hurt, she had better do exactly as he says. He starts by giving her a marker pen and a roll of white duct tape, and telling her to write the number 13 on it. She knows for certain now that she is in the presence of "The Artist". Soon, he has secured Jasmine to a chair with rope, binding her wrists, knees and ankles, and securing her to the chair itself with rope passing above and below her breasts. He concludes his art work by applying four strips of duct tape, the last of these bearing the number thirteen that Jasmine herself was made to write. After taking some photographs for his collection, he leaves Jasmine alone to get herself free. She struggles once her departs, but the ropes are very secure and she soon discovers that she can't loosen them. She will have to sit there, bound and gagged, until someone finds her.
