With him out of the way, Claire decides to make an escape attempt. She manages to slide the chair over to the door leading to the outside world, but try as she may, she cannot reach the lock or the door handle. She tries and tries, but it’s no good. Finally, she knows she must give it up. To prevent her captor knowing that she tried to escape, she begins moving the chair back across the room to where she was positioned originally. She does not make it. She rocks the chair so violently in her efforts that she tips it over onto its back. She lies there helpless, knowing she is going to be in trouble now. When her captor returns, he determines that she needs to be punished further. This time, he makes her remove all of her clothes, making her suffer the humiliation of being naked, then he hogties her on the bed where she began her activity, a cleave gag keeping her quiet.
