Jay was never tranced before, and has preconceived notions about what it is supposed to be like. First I do a brief induction where he gazes at a spinning pinwheel on my computer. I wake him up so that he can convince himself that he was in a light trance. Then I do a full and effective induction on him -- you get a clear shot of him gazing into my eyes.
