There's no back story here. Objects don't have back stories or a 'self' I need somewhere to prop my feet while I clip, file and paint my toe nails. Your only purpose is to stay still, and be a comfortable foot stool for my pedicure. This particular piece of furniture has an erect stick. Try and keep it out of my way while I tend to my bare feet. I don't care if my soles are in your face. Don't expect me to acknowledge you. You're easy to ignore.
