This match was videotaped at the height of the summer heat in Southern California and the sweat literally runs off Todd Porter in torrents. A double hammerlock on Devin enhanced by a throat gives a first fall victory to Todd Porter. Devin Powers comes to life in the second fall as he exhibits some aggressiveness that makes a difference and that difference is a second fall victory with a Boston crab. This aggressiveness carries over into the next fall, but it's weak and short-lived. Powers ends up struggling between Porter's very muscular thighs. From that point on it's all Porter. Porter puts Powers into holds such as a full nelson, a double hammer, and huge body slams that require maximum muscle exertion and flexing.
