The square faced, strong-jawed young performer had good potential, but like the morning fog he vanished before our eyes. Corby is quite overwhelmed by a very & continuously aggressive Marky who comes out to get him with all blazing. Marky, at 5'5”, may be short on stature, but he's heavy on muscle and strength. Gut punches, a corner work-over, a head beal into ring center, and a single-arm hammer have Corby Banning wondering exactly what hit him. But Corby isn't out of the game long. He gets control with three elbow smashes to Marky's chest, and a throw to the mat. BG thinks that as long as Marky can keep Corby off his feet and trapped in mat holds he might have a chance at victory. But on his feet Corby Banning has got to be a danger with his height and weight advantage. This proves to be true when Corby reverses a full nelson and sets Marky spinning. BG expects it to be all over with this move, but Corby wants to punish the little Musclestud further. A big mistake! He returns Marky to the mat. Marky rakes Corby's eyes and goes on to win the first fall with a camel clutch. A standing headlock, a flip to the mat, and Corby's in charge at the top of the second fall. Notice the way Marky doesn't ever give in to any hold as he squirms and tries continuously to correct any disadvantage in which he finds himself trapped. And Corby does eventually lose his hold to Marky's continuing aggressiveness. Corby rakes Marky's eyes, knees him, gut punches him, head butts him, and lower rope chokes him. He rakes his eyes over the top ring rope, knees him in the corner. And yet, after all that, the little Musclestud is still body punching him, trying to and then reversing the action yet again. Talk about rough! Corby puts him in a leg hold and pours on the pressure. Marky squirms out of it. Corby secures him in another standing full nelson, spins him. This takes some of the fight out of Marky once again. A backbreaker over the knee! Marky squirms off of it. A backbreaker over Corby's broad muscular shoulders brings forth a submission - finally! The match is even at 1 fall apiece. Corby gains a side headlock and then another full nelson. But this time it's Marky who reverses it and sends Corby flying. His ability to continually reverse and control the much bigger wrestler has got to be very humiliating to Corby Banning. A gut punch, a big power slam, knees from Corby - all reign down on Marky. You'd think it would make a dent. But the next thing you see is Marky (amazing strength) body-slamming Corby. Two head butts, and a sudden and relentless attack on one of Marky's legs, finally turn the tide in Corby's favor in an irreversible way. Marky starts to His ability to reverse the action disappears. You sort of hope that somehow or in someway he'll be able to come back yet again. But no way! There is no hope1 He is squashed into submission like a squirming bug with Corby's figure four leg-lock.
