The first time I worked with Penny I was a few minutes late to the shoot, and Penny had already arrived and was having her hair and make up done. When I arrived she lit a smoke, and I immediately got out the camera and started filming her. She was as relaxed as a kitten, and her smoking was totally real life the way she smoked, and there was nothing contrived for the camera. The audio of this short scene has been destroyed and is non-salvageable. But the video remains in tact, and it's still wonderful!
