One night, Danni thought she had gone to bed alone in her home...and maybe this was a dream...or not!

She came to and found herself tied down spreadeagle in a chilly dungeon. Somehow, she found herself dressed in her tiny red bikini, and nothing else. She called out for help, but a sticky tape gag held her mouth shut. More frightening than that, a large metal blade hung in the air directly over her waist. The blade was on a shaft, and suspended from the ceiling by a mechanical device. All she could do was lie there, and wonder what was to happen.

After several minutes, Danni hear...

One night, Danni thought she had gone to bed alone in her home...and maybe this was a dream...or not!

She came to and found herself tied down spreadeagle in a chilly dungeon. Somehow, she found herself dressed in her tiny red bikini, and nothing else. She called out for help, but a sticky tape gag held her mouth shut. More frightening than that, a large metal blade hung in the air directly over her waist. The blade was on a shaft, and suspended from the ceiling by a mechanical device. All she could do was lie there, and wonder what was to happen.

After several minutes, Danni heard a click and looked up at the mechanism. A small motor seemed to pull the blade off to one side. The motor stopped, and the blade was allowed to swing freely on the shaft, much like a pendulum in a grandfather clock.

Once the blade began to swing, Danni immediately put the puzzle together and realized that this was a similar device to the medieval torment the narrator faced in Poe's "The Pit and the Pendulum". She also realized that this situation would be painful and eventually lethal if she could not escape it!

The blade swung freely back and forth over Danni's waist, she squirmed and tried to free herself; she called out for help into the tape, but there was no one in the room. Just her, the pendulum, and seemingly a horrific and painful end. Every swing brought the blade lower and lower, and soon it was just barely over her slender waist!

Would Danni receive any mercy at all? Could she escape the ropes, or was this to be her fate, so be slowly split in two at the waist by the cruelest of all ?
