When you're a scream queen B-movie actress, sometimes you will get a gig to be a magician's assistant. It's a natural fit, be a victim in the movies, be a victim in the trick on stage and emerge unscathed. This particular magician had his previous assistant leave under some mysterious circumstances, and through Debbie's agent, hired Debbie as a replacement.

Debbie's job was simple, be tied down in front of a buzzsaw and look scared. Convince the audience that it's real, that she's going to be cut in half. She isn't of course, and so she let herself be tied down wearing a lacy linge...

Debbie's job was simple, be tied down in front of a buzzsaw and look scared. Convince the audience that it's real, that she's going to be cut in half. She isn't of course, and so she let herself be tied down wearing a lacy lingerie outfit and also be gagged with tape. Now Debbie is helpless and the saw begins to approach, just like the classic perils in the old movies from the early 1900s!

While it's not spinning it seems pretty harmless, like a trick that's not working, but as it gets closer, it begins to spin, and spin rapidly. And it keeps getting closer and spinning and closer and spinning and then, suddenly, everything goes dark!
