She comes back to her office to formulate a new plan when the guy grabs her from behind. She struggles to escape his grasp, but can't get free. (It seems as though the guy had hidden himself in her office, just waiting. It paid off)

Adams is tied on a couch in full uniform. Cleave gagged with a bandanna, later duct taped over, she can't possibly get out.
