Whitney Morgan assumes the identity of Deputy Sheriff O'Neill, a top deputy of the Brown County anti-crime unit. She's holding some valuable evidence that could put some bad people away for many years. The leader of the robbery crew, implicated by this evidence, decides to locate Deputy O'Neill's home and break in to see if she has been careless enough to leave it out where he could find it. As he is rifling through her things, she comes home and catches him doing so, but he gets the drop on her.
