State police detectives Brianne Blu and Rachel Adams are working a big case involving multiple jurisdictions, but they believe that they are the lead agency. But a rival from the sheriff’s office has other ideas, and says so as he shows up at their office to demand their case files so he can proceed without interference from them. State police detectives Brianne Blu and Rachel Adams are working a big case involving multiple jurisdictions, but they believe that they are the lead agency. But a rival from the sheriff’s office has other ideas, and says so as he shows up at their office to demand their case files so he can proceed without interference from them. They refuse to step aside and that’s when things get a little dicey for the girls.

The sheriff handcuffs them with their own cuffs and gags them right there in the office. He continues to demand that they step back, but they continue to refuse so he moves them to an old break room that is barely ever used anymore. He tapes over their gags and tapes their ankles to the chairs they are seated on. He leaves them alone to contemplate their predicament.

He returns after a while and asks if they will give up their files, they reluctantly agree. He gets the files and then just leaves! They are still tied up!

Adams manages to get out of her cuffs and releases Blu as they talk about their next move which they agree should be to report this incident to their boss. They realize that this will likely mean not ever being able to live this down in the eyes of their peers.

Maybe, to save face, they might be able to find the guy who did this and do something about it.
