They had some car trouble earlier in the parking lot at work, so they called their pocket mechanic to come fix it while they went inside to wait. The video picks up with them coming around the corner, thinking the car is done but find the hood still up and Ralphie, the pervert mechanic, is nowhere to be found. Maybe he had to get parts? A tool? Frustrated that they're still stuck at work, they hang out by the car so as not to miss a chance to yell at Ralphie when he returns.
