She's done for the day and is ready to go home. She gets her stuff together and walks down the stairs, across the parking to get into her car. It's dark outside already and she's one of the last people to leave. Her heels 'click' across the empty parking lot. She gets in her car, starts it up and warms it up by revving it a few times...now she can go home.
