Short but Sweet. She was in this tie for a few minutes while I figured out someone had locked the tape on the camera - Doh! This tie HURTS, I've been in it and I know. She was working hard to give us this 2 minutes. She could, with super-human effort, manage to change her stance into a different position but one that was equally painful and could only be taken for a few seconds before she would have to fall back into the original position that I tied her in (which is breathtakingly beautiful). The pain in THAT position was even worse and would her once again to change. Each time she had to change positions it got twice as hard to do it until eventually she couldn't anymore. I could see by the sweat glistening on her face and body, the pained expression and when she quit communicating that it was time to end it before she either or threw up. She was definitely pushed to the edge - which she says she seeks. Afterwards she said she had no idea how hard that was going to be (they rarely believe me when I tell them beforehand but she's learning). And even looking at the pics it doesn't LOOK like it should have hurt that much. Hmmm... maybe if I hadn't let the waist rope cut in quite so much? Nahhhhhh. XOXOX, Maria Shadoes - Rigger.
