She struggles long and hard to make this happen but without success. In the end, she has no choice but to make another trip to the bathroom and fight to make herself pee into the toilet. While Lydia can sometimes release onto the floor, and on one occasion only into clothes, her long-established inhibitions in this area make her unreliable for this kind of work.
