She does not let on about this and presents a brave and defiant face to the client. The minutes seem to pass more slowly as Hannah enters the third hour, because now she is desperate to go and cannot stand still, not even for a moment. She sits and stands, crosses and uncrosses her legs, tries to distract herself from her predicament, but nothing seems to be working. With still half an hour to go, Hannah starts to leak.
