Jasmine has missed three consecutive appointments with her parole officer and is now in danger of him informing his superiors, which would lead to her being arrested and sent back to prison. She desperately does not want this to happen and shows up at his office early. He is not in yet and Jasmine has to wait. She hurried to keep the appointment and didn't stop en route, despite a rather urgent need to pee. She assumed that once she arrived she could ask to use the facilities.
