Poor Beatrice comes home from a full day of work standing on her one good leg, but that's not the one causing her pain. It's her fully casted leg that's aching and her cold little exposed toes. Crutching into her apartment, she changes and props up her bad leg to ease the pain wiggling her exposed toes in her angled ankle cast.
