She's gotten a cast shoe but she uses it primarily to rest her foot or to amble up and down stairs as she does in this clip. Mostly though she crutches around with her casted leg up. She is still very self-conscious about her legs and sticks, particularly walking around with her BFF in her two cute open toed high heeled sandals. On the other hand Chloe must wear a flat comfortable shoe on the one foot she still can in order to keep her balance on crutches, and her own five "open toes" on her single exposed foot blast out of her cast and protrude over the edge of her unfashionable cast shoe. She's also self-conscious about them getting dirty, or worse, stepped on particularly on crowded public transit. That is why she prefers crutching in public to getting toe stomped on public transport! While her friend walks besides her gracefully in her heels, Chloe clops around awkwardly on her crutches and one shoe, compensating with a body fitting dress that creates other issues for her on her crutches. After some time crutching around town, enduring the endless stares of passers-bye and struggling up and down stairs Chloe MUST rest. They find a bench wear she can finally prop up her crampy leg and toes and pull her hated cast shoe off giving her stiff casted leg and exposed toes some relief! Her friend takes pity on her and assists her by massaging each of her little toes individually between her fingers, including Chloe's particularly prominent big toe and also exercising the cramps out of them by bending her toe back, She also uses her water bottle against Chloe's exposed sole and toes to provide some cooling relief. Chloes's glad for the soothing attention to her aching casted foot, glad her ugly cast shoe is off and glad to wiggle and curl her exposed toes in the cool breeze.
